DRESS CODE
Children should come to school in comfortable play clothes and shoes that can
withstand pain, sand, direct, etc. Clothes should be easy for the child to remove when
using the bathroom. For example, an outfit that buttons up the back is not practical.
Children need to wear sneakers or shoes in which they can run and play easily.
Sandals, flip-flops, backless shoes, cowboy boots or wheelie shoes are not permitted
for safety reasons.
All students should have an extra change of clothing at school for occasional
accidents. If the extra set of clothing is used, parents must send a fresh set the
following day. Items to include in your child’s extra clothes zip lock bag are as follows:
A pair of pants/shorts
A shirt
A pair of socks
Underwear
All clothing, particularly jackets, sweaters, and hats must be labeled with your child’s
name. All personal items brought from home should be labeled.
PARENT CONFERENCES
Parent-Teacher conferences are held on as needed basis for the purpose of giving
each parent an overview of his/her child’s developmental progress and/or any
problems that may arise during your child’s stay at the parent’s request. We believe
that the parents and staff should work closely to meet the child’s needs. Parents or
teachers may request conferences at any time they feel there is a need.
RESOLVING PARENTS CONCERNS
Please familiarize yourself with our policies and procedures. Know your child’s teacher
and direct your concern to the lead teacher of your child’s room first. If you are unable
to resolve your issues, please feel free to contact the Director. Your concerns are
important to us. Therefore, all concerns will be addressed.
CLASS OBSERVATIONS
Parents are encouraged to visit their child’s classroom. You are also welcome to
schedule a follow-up discussion to offer comments and/or suggestions. Keep in mind
that you can come in at any time to observe your child (ren)’s class.
